Veronica O’Hare
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
Veronica is an accredited psychotherapist qualified to masters level with almost thirty years experience as a therapist. She is registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Veronica provides psychodynamic psychotherapy for a wide range of emotional difficulties in adults, adolescents and with children. She has had a long career in the NHS as well as charitable and social care mental health services. As a psychodynamic therapist she is interested in the impact of the past on present difficulties and works collaboratively with clients to explore their stories and create a plan for treatment in response to a problem or issue.
Veronica also provides supervision to psychodynamic therapists and supervision and training to frontline professionals involved in therapeutic work.
She is interested in the unconscious at play in our relationships and in everyday life and enjoys using a psychoanalytic perspective to reflect on our varied experiences.
