Integrative Counsellor

As one of my favourite bands say, 'Modern Life is Rubbish' and often our friends and family are not the easiest to talk to. It can be freeing to have someone outwith your normal circles to talk through life's complexities with. You might know exactly why you want to attend counselling, be that low mood, anxiety, trauma, struggles associated with neurodiversity or grief, or you may not know why, but something just doesn't feel right or you feel a bit stuck. Whatever it is, I will always meet you with curiosity rather than judgement, offering a safe space to offload, process and explore your feelings and experiences.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy working with Adults, Children and Young People.  I have over 18 years’ experience of supporting people in different settings and qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist in 2024. I work with adults, young people and children. I work in a truly collaborative way, where we talk through any problems you have together and develop practical strategies to move on in life in a way that feels right for you. As an integrative practitioner I use theories and techniques from different counselling modalities including person centred, psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to inform my work. This means I will adapt my style to find what works best for you, working creatively to ensure you get the most from therapy.

With my younger clients I use engaging, age-appropriate strategies that empower them to express themselves and promote healthy coping mechanisms.
